If your Worbla has marks or blemishes, often from storage or transit, don’t fret!
For Finest, Black and Mesh Art, lines that show stress from rolling, compression or storage are usually faintly white and will mostly be visible when the light hits the sheet.

For any project, these will almost always disappear under your heat gun, but you can also help smooth them out in troublesome areas if you are working over foam or another soft fill surface. Just heat the Worbla gently (be careful not to overheat and cause your foam to create air bubbles) and then rub a smooth, round tool over the area, using a bit of water to help it glide. We usually use the back of a spoon!
For deeper indents, or cracks you are patching, you may want to first smooth with a tool and then use an extra coat of primer to give you the smoothest surface possible. We recommend Flexbond Primer for most projects, but you can see a breakdown of other primers here.
For any sort of sculpted work, you don’t need to worry at all – these will disappear as soon as you start manipulating the Worbla!
